Requirements

  • To study at JGU as an Erasmus+ Exchange Student, your home university must have an bilateral agreement with JGU.
  • To apply for Erasmus+, you have to apply at your home university for an exchange study place in Mainz. Usually this is done through the subject/departemental coordinator or the International Relations Office of your home university. For information about deadlines and our semester dates, please see the links to the right. Please also note the deadlines of your home university.
  • You must be nominated by your home university as an exchange student. Without the nomination from your home university your application will not be accepted. After your nomination as Erasmus+ exchange student, you will receive the relevant information for your registration at JGU.
  • At the beginning of the semester, please introduce yourself to the responsible Erasmus+Coordinator.
  • We offer German and English language courses for Bachelor and Master students. For German-language courses, we recommend language level B2.
