To study at JGU as an Erasmus+ exchange student, your home university must have a bilateral agreement with JGU. To apply for Erasmus+, you need to apply for an exchange study placement at Mainz through your home university, typically via your department coordinator or the International Relations Office. For details on deadlines and semester dates, please refer to the links provided on the right. Be sure to also observe the application deadlines set by your home university.

You must be officially nominated by your home university as an exchange student; without this nomination, your application cannot be accepted. Once you have been nominated as an Erasmus+ exchange student, you will receive the necessary information for registering at JGU.

At the start of the semester, please make sure to introduce yourself to the Erasmus+ Coordinator responsible for your program.
